Smith & Williamson has received FSA approval to drop the Nucleus tag from its fund range but changes to share classes and the pricing structure will not take place until the New Year. Investment Week reported in September that the group is revamping its fund range to in a bid to align itself with the rest of the market and raise awareness of the investment management brand. As well as name changes to the funds to better reflect the investment philosophy, Smith & Williamson also proposed to up the AMC from 0.95% to 1.5% in order to pay trail commission.
