Departing FSA chief executive John Tiner was paid a total of £652,577 this year, up from £572,619 in 2006. According to the FSA 2006/07 annual report published today, this figure comprised salary of £430,000, a performance-related bonus of £95,000 and other benefits totalling £127,577. Tiner will step down from the FSA on 19 July, after six years with the regulator. FSA chairman Callum McCarthy’s total pay was £433,565, including salary of £360,000 and benefits totalling £73,565.
