New Star’s Hitesh Thakrar has replaced Greg Kerr on the struggling Global Equity fund. Thakrar, who also runs the group’s Technology offering, is aiming to turn around performance on the £41.59m fund, which has been languishing in the Global Growth sector. Launched in July 1998 over 12 months, the portfolio delivered -23.6% against a sector average of -3.2% ranking 162/162, according to figures from Morningstar.
