F&C has recruited Paras Anand to the newly created role of head of European equities. Anand, who joins from Deutsche Asset Management in October, has overall responsibility for F&C's continental European and pan European equities teams. Reporting to Richard Wilson, head of equities at F&C, the former manager of the $600m DWS Europe Equity fund will also be responsible for managing the group’s high alpha European equity portfolios. Anand began his career with Invesco Perpetual as a member of the UK institutional team in 1997.
