Several appointments have been made at the FSA as the body restructures several of its departments. Sally Dewar has been promoted from her role as director of markets to managing director of wholesale at the FSA, and will also sit on the Board. She succeeds Hector Sants who became chief executive in July last year. Dewar will take on responsibility for all regulated markets, the operation of the UK Listing rules, and the regulation of firms conducting wholesale or institutional business between professionals.
