Standard & Poor’s has launched an index which tracks the performance of the world’s 30 largest eco-firms. The S&P Global Eco Index is linked to 30 of the largest publicly listed companies operating in ecology-related industries, such as clean energy production, water utilities and infrastructure, timber, environmental services and waste management. The index tracks firms from 12 countries including Brazil, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Great Britain and Hong Kong.
