Long-term India fund manager Vijay Tohani is leaving First State Investments, with co-manager David Gait taking over the portfolio. Angus Tulloch will step into Gait’s former position as co-manager. Tohani leaves after the group after eight years, heading the Indian fund since launch in 2006. The group said the departure is amicable and is effective immediately.
