My views on with-profits funds, especially with-profits bonds, are well known. For years I was criticised and at some points even threatened with legal action for daring to speak out against with-profits investment. But, as we all know, my position has been thoroughly vindicated since the turn of the century. I believe that for many advisers the answer was a with-profits bond before the client even walked through the door.
