Despite increasing optimism from economists on the US market, multi-managers' portfolios are still underweight the region. Fiscal and monetary policy changes have sparked a recovery in the US, but UK fund of funds (Fof) managers do not appear to be buying the region. Aidan Kearney, investment director at Artemis, said the group has been underweight the US for some time now, favouring emerging markets and Asia.
