Vast range of funds in IMA Specialist sector confirm diversity and reputation of their managers with performance figures over one year

With such a vast range of products having little or no correlation, the diversion of performance in funds under the IMA Specialist sector banner is no surprise. But while it contains a number of smaller and more niche vehicles, the sector houses some of the most respected names in fund management, including Jupiter’s Phillip Gibbs and JPMorgan’s Ian Henderson. At £1.7bn, the BlackRock Gold & General fund is the second largest fund in the grouping.
