Investors left in dark over assets in suspended fund as chairman Jon Maguire calls on the Chancellor to apply pressure

Investors in the Arch cru funds could be waiting as long as 10 weeks before the reality of their investments is made clear. Following the suspension of the funds by authorised corporate director Capita Financial Management on 13 March over liquidity issues, the relationship between distributor cru Investment Management and fund manager Arch has become increasingly strained, with cru chairman Jon Maguire last week writing to Chancellor Alistair Darling, calling on him to apply pressure to Capita to disclose the underlying holdings in the funds.
