UK Insolvency Service looks to ban Lex Greensill from running companies for 15 years

The UK Insolvency Service has started a case to ban former director of Greensill Capital from running or controlling companies for up to 15 years, after the results of the investigation into the firm’s collapse.

The disqualification proceedings were brought on 7 March. A spokesperson from the service said they will be "in respect of his conduct" as a director of both companies. No further details on the case were made available by the service, given "this matter is now a live case before the court it is not appropriate to comment further".
