Square Mile chief executive Richard Romer-Lee has been appointed co-CEO of Titan Asset Management, following regulatory approval for Titan Wealth's acquisition of the investment research house.

The deal to acquire Square Mile Investment Consulting and Research, and the firm's £2.6bn in model portfolio services assets under management, was completed on Friday (23 February) after receiving the green light from the Financial Conduct Authority. Titan Wealth has now added £2.5bn to its managed assets, encompassing Square Mile's MPS solutions and a team of 20 research analysts specialising in UK retail funds and investment trusts.
