Marcelo Assalin and other key members of NN Investment Partners' emerging markets debt team have joined William Blair Investment Management.

Reporting to partner and global head of WBIM Stephanie Braming, former NN IP head of hard currency EMD Marco Ruijer is among the staff joining the firm in the first quarter of 2020. NN IP expands range with ESG-focused European infrastructure fund Their departure means Edith Siermann is acting head of its EMD team. Also currently serving as head of specialised fixed income and responsible investing, Siermann previously served as CIO of De Nederlandsche Bank.
