Franklin Templeton launches innovation fund

Will target "leaders in innovation"

Franklin Templeton has today (11 November) announced the launch of an innovation fund with a focus on capital appreciation.

The Franklin Innovation fund will target companies that are "leaders in innovation" and "take on pioneering technologies". The fund has been publicly launched in Luxembourg and is currently being registered with the FCA for UK investors. It will be led by California-based portfolio manager, Matthew J. Moberg, who is part of the Franklin equity group.
