Deutsche Bank Wealth Management (DBWM) has appointed ex-Vontobel strategist Gregor Hirt as global head of wealth discretionary.
Hirt, who had served as head of multi-asset solutions and chief strategist at Vontobel since April 2017, joins DBWM with immediate effect and will report to global CIO and head of wealth discretionary Christian Nolting.
Hirt will be based in Frankfurt and will oversee DBWM's wealth discretionary portfolio management activities globally. He will also be responsible for growing the firm's asset base in wealth discretionary, said Nolting.
Before joining Swiss firm Vontobel, Hirt worked as global chief strategist for UBS Asset Management's multi-asset funds. He previously held roles with Schroders and Credit Suisse.
Nolting said DBWM currently has more than 160 investment professionals globally who manage more than €52bn for clients based on their risk and reward profiles and investment objectives.
