Whitechurch makes double investment hire as Moyes departs

Whitechurch Securities has appointed Simon Jaffe and Jakob Filer from OLIM and Seven Investment Management respectively as Jonathan Moyes departs the investment team after eight years, Investment Week can reveal.

Jaffe, who joins as a senior investment manager, and Filer will be joined at the Bristol-based firm by an additional two hires, with Whitechurch set to announce the appointment of a senior investment analyst and an additional manager "in the coming weeks". Outgoing Moyes, who joined the firm in 2011 from Brewin Dolphin, was responsible for UK equites, qualitative and quantitative investment research, and fund selection, as well as risk management of discretionary fund management portfolios.
