Invesco expands investment solutions unit with double hire

Ali Zouiten joins from HSBC GAM and Derek Steeden joins from LGIM

Invesco has hired Ali Zouiten and Derek Steeden from HSBC Global Asset Management and Legal & General Investment Management respectively to newly created roles within its London-based Invesco Investment Solutions team.

Zouiten and Steeden, who join as director of derivatives solutions development and portfolio manager respectively, will be responsible for developing a team to manage liability-aware and multi-asset overlay portfolios, in particular for pensions and insurance clients. SSGA poaches ETF product development duo from Invesco Most recently employed as head of investments for product development at HSBC GAM, Zouiten has also held roles at Baloise Group in Switzerland and AXA in Paris.
