SLA bolsters distribution team with new hire

Will focus on platforms and investment specialisms

Standard Life Aberdeen has appointed Kirsty Barr to the newly created role of UK distribution director for key accounts, which will see her focus on platform clients and investment specialisms.

Barr, who will report to managing director of UK distribution Noel Butwell, will lead a team of 15 people, 11 of whom are business development directors covering nationals, networks, national DFMs, retail banks, private banks and multi-managers.
