A product provider once gave me a purple Barney the Dinosaur toy as an inducement.

It was a great inducement because it did not have the product provider’s name or logo on it, so I could give it straight to my eldest daughter and she thought I had bought it. And back in those days Barney was quite cool among four-to-eight year kids, so I looked like a cool dad. Did it make me write ‘nice’ things about that product provider? I cannot remember it influencing me, in fact I cannot remember which provider ‘induced’ me.
