What do Chris Moyles, Starbucks, Google and eBay have in common? They are all tax avoiders.

And certainly Starbucks, Google and eBay are ‘immoral’. Putting ‘immoral’ into context – they were branded immoral on the front page of the Daily Mail. So whether it is true or a load of rubbish depends what you think about the Daily Mail. In the interest of balance (which the BBC’s Newsnight temporarily forgot) it is The Times that outed Chris Moyles, in what seems to be a one-newspaper campaign against aggressive tax planning.
