USA blog: Lehman lives on two years after death

On the second anniversary of the Lehman Brothers downfall, the investment bank roared back onto the front pages of the business press.

While Lehman Brothers' distinctive green colouring has disappeared from everyday life, as evident when walking past its former 7th Avenue home now emblazoned in Barclays' blue, the aftershocks from the downfall continue to be felt. In New York on Tuesday, Lehman filed six lawsuits to recover funds it says were incorrectly transferred to CDS counterparties after it filed for bankruptcy protection.
