The latest research from Incisive Buzz asks: The FSA has recently published its 2004 report on regulatory performance in which it states there is an improving relationship between the FSA and the industry. Do you believe this is the case? Comments were as follows: • Most opinions will be based purely on personal experience, that is, subjectively. However, unless they reverse the progressively prescriptive nature of compliance the business will not be profitable and the banks will be left with the industry to themselves.
