Gadd and Spilsbury depart Artemis

Head of product and distribution development at Artemis Investment Management Alan Gadd has left the firm after more than five years.

His departure coincides with that of associate sales director Ian Spilsbury, who leaves after more than 16 years in the role, Investment Week understands. Artemis promotes income fund managers Shenton and Marsh to partner Gadd joined Artemis in 2013 from his role as an independent consultant at NIMA Partners. Prior to that he was head of UK at Allfunds Bank, and has also served as retail business director at former Aviva Investors brand Morley Fund Management and as retail managing director at HSBC Global Asset Management.
