Fundsmith promotes trio to firm's partnership

Fundsmith has promoted three members of staff to partners, bringing the total to seven partners in the firm.

Conrad Rey, Greville Ward and Daniel Washburn have all been promoted, subject to regulatory approval from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). All three have been at the firm since its inception by fund manager and founder Terry Smith in 2010.  Rey is a sales director at the firm, Ward leads interaction with high net worth (HNW) individuals and international investors while Washburn is a research analyst.  The trio join the firm's founding partnership which consists of Smith, chief operating officer Mark Laurence, chief financial officer Simon Godwin and head of research Julian R...
