Appointed to asset management tax team

Former Investment Association (IA) director Jorge Morley-Smith has been hired by KPMG's asset management team.

Morley-Smith joined KPMG UK as a director in the Asset Management tax team in June, working alongside partners, Rachel Hanger and Nathan Hall. Prior to joining KPMG, Morley-Smith spent six years as head of tax at the Investment Association, assisting on the implementation of initiaitves such as base erosion and profit shifting (BEPS) and automatic exchange of information (AEOI) before overseeing the industry's Brexit plans.
