UK businesses warn 'patience is reaching breaking point' over Brexit

The British Chambers of Commerce (BCC), which represents thousands of businesses across the UK, has said firms are running out of patience over the lack of clarity and progress on Brexit negotiations.

The organisation has published a list of 23 'real-world' questions covering issues it feels it is no clearer on than it was immediately after the referendum in 2016, and which is urgently needs answers to. The list covers subjects including VAT, tariffs, customs and regulations. For example, with regards to customs, it has asked whether goods will be subject to new procedures and delayed at border points or on regulation, and whether checks on goods conducted in the UK will be recognised by the EU.
