BlackRock European equity manager Gaskell departs after 24 years

BlackRock's Alice Gaskell, portfolio manager and member of the group's European equity style diversified team, is leaving the firm.

Investment Week understands Gaskell is stepping down to spend time with her family. She is currently responsible for the £2bn BlackRock Continental European Income, €2.4bn BlackRock GF European Equity Income and €3.6bn BlackRock GF Euro Markets funds alongside co-manager Andreas Zoellinger.
