Baillie Gifford's Mileva discusses new approach for Schroders UK Growth fund

Baillie Gifford's Milena Mileva has shed light on plans to overhaul the Schroder UK Growth fund, which is currently being transferred to the Edinburgh-based investment firm.

The £286m investment trust, which has been managed by Schroders' Philip Matthews since 2014, will be renamed the Baillie Gifford UK Growth fund and co-managed by Baillie Gifford's Milena Mileva and Iain McCombie. The duo will take a different approach to the current strategy, making the trust's philosophy and process more alligned to the long-term with a high active share process that Baillie Gifford implements within its fund range.
