BlackRock's Sattar departs after 20 years

Blackrock UK equities manager Imran Sattar, responsible for over £500m in assets under management, has left the firm after more than 20 years.

Sattar was co-manager of the £315m BlackRock UK Equity and £194m UK Focus fund. He first began his career at the firm in 1997 as a graduate at Mercury Asset Management, which later became Merrill Lynch Investment Management and merged with BlackRock in 2006. He took over the UK Equity fund in 2003 and the UK Focus fund in 2011.   What are the share price 'catalysts' for UK equities?
