Rathbone IM appoints managing director

Rathbones has appointed its group finance director Paul Stockton to the newly created role of managing director of its investment management department, subject to regulatory approval.

Stockton is set to be managing director of Rathbone Investment Management (RIM) while continuing to report to Philip Howell, group CEO. In his new role, he will oversee the day-to-day running of RIM, working closely with its general manager team to develop the business. Mike Webb will remain in his role as CEO of Rathbone Unit Trust Management.
