Investec AM recruits SLI's EMD manager for multi-asset team

Will help to build Investec's absolute return strategy

Investec Asset Management has expanded its multi-asset team with the appointment of Imran Ahmad as a portfolio manager, who previously ran a Standard Life Investments' (SLI) emerging market debt fund.

Ahmad, whose appointment brings Investec's multi-asset investment team to a staff of 32, joined SLI in 2016 and was portfolio manager of its £112m Emerging Market Debt Unconstrained fund.
