AXA IM's Nigel Thomas to retire

Chris St John to take over £3bn UK Select Opps fund

AXA IM's Nigel Thomas is to retire in March 2019 after 40 years in asset management, with Chris St John assuming control of the £3bn UK Select Opportunities fund.  

St John, who will continue to manage the £200m AXA Framlington UK Mid-Cap fund and will remain as lead manager on the AXA WF Framlington UK Fund, an offshore multi-cap UK equities mandate with a similar style to UK Select Opportunities, will take over as lead manager on UK Select Opportunities from 31 December 2018.
