Raft of equity manager departures at Aberdeen Standard Investments amid reshuffle

Six equity fund managers in the Aberdeen Standard Investments equity division have left the firm following the integration of the Aberdeen Asset Management and Standard Life Investments equities teams.

Aberdeen Standard Investments has completed the integration of its equity division on the back of the merger of Aberdeen Asset Management and Standard Life Investments in August 2017, led by global head of equities Devan Kaloo. Kevin Troup, Ross Mathison and Jaime Ramos Martin have all left the global equities team. Troup, who is retiring from fund management, ran the Global Equity Income fund while Mathison was deputy manager. Ramos Martin was a manager on the North American fund.
