Artemis hires Polar Capital partner to replace Gosden on income team

Marsh to begin working on Income fund in February 2018

Artemis Investment Management has added to its UK equity income team with the hire of Polar Capital partner Andy Marsh to work alongside Adrian Frost and Nick Shenton.

Marsh's appointment as a fund manager follows the 2016 departure of Adrian Gosden, who joined GAM in September this year after spending 13 years at Artemis.  The hire brings the £6.2bn Artemis Income fund's management team back to a total of three. Marsh, who will begin working on the fund from February 2018, joined Polar Capital in 2006, where he was a manager on the firm's £203.69m European Forager fund.
