Janus Henderson appoints Maris and Crooke as co-heads of equities; Graham Kitchen exits for charity sector

Janus Henderson Investors has appointed George Maris and Alex Crooke to head up the firm's equities division in their respective US and UK offices.

Maris will be responsible for leading equities in the US and Crooke will be responsible for leading equities in the EMEA & APAC regions. They will jointly report to Enrique Chang, global chief investment officer. Graham Kitchen, the firm's current global head of equities, is leaving the industry to pursue other interests in the charitable sector. He will remain with the team until the end of March 2018 to ensure a smooth transition.
