Julius Baer CEO departs for rival Pictet

Focusing on global wealth management

Julius Baer chief executive Boris Collardi has stepped down from his position to become a partner at Pictet, taking on joint responsibility for the group's global wealth management business.

Collardi has worked at Swiss private bank Julius Baer since 2006, when he joined as chief operating officer and was then promoted to chief executive in October 2009. He is understood to have resigned from the group with immediate effect and will join Pictet by mid-2018.
