Cornelian appoints ex-Barings distribution head Rod Aldridge

Edinburgh-based boutique firm Cornelian Asset Managers has hired Rod Aldridge as head of distribution effectively immediately, Investment Week can reveal.

Aldridge left his most recent role as head of EMEA wholesale distribution at Barings earlier this year after nine years with the company, which recently finalised its merger with Babson Capital Management. Prior to this, he led UK wholesale distribution at Gartmore and was sales and marketing director at the launch of Cofunds. Aldridge said: "I am very excited to have joined the team at Cornelian.
