GAM's Gosden: 'You won't see me at another firm in two years' time'

Fund to launch on platforms on 6 November

Fund manager Adrian Gosden, who joined GAM in September after 13 years at Artemis, has revealed the drivers behind his new equity income fund, due to launch on platforms on 6 November.

Gosden told Investment Week this will be his last job in the industry spearheading what is his third and final fund launch, following a career with Artemis and Societe Generale spanning over 20 years. The manager sees this latest venture as a 15-years plus move, and he is putting his own money behind the launch. His new GAM UK Equity Income fund has been seeded with £20m from the company and £10m from the manager and other backers.   "I am really up for it," Gosden said.
