BNP Paribas AM hires former Pioneer CEO for senior sales role

Sandro Pierri joins as global head of client group

BNP Paribas Asset Management has appointed former chief executive of Pioneer Investments, Sandro Pierri, as global head of its client group, the firm's sales and marketing division.

Pierri, who will report to CEO Frédéric Janbon in London, will also be a member of BNPP AM's executive committee upon joining in September 2017.  BNP Paribas hires global head of sales from Deutsche Bank Pierri spent ten years with Pioneer Investments, serving in a number of leading distribution roles, such as head of Western Europe and international, assuming the role of CEO and head of parent company UniCredit's asset management division in 2012.
