Update: Former OMGI rates manager Oxley joins Edinburgh boutique as head of macro

Former Old Mutual Global Investors manager Russ Oxley has joined fixed income investment manager Cameron Hume, based in Edinburgh in a newly created role.

Oxley (pictured) will work with the firm as head of macroeconomic strategy on a consultancy contract agreed with Oxley's own management company Avrox Investment Solutions.  The newly created role will see him work with Dr Kevin Kidney in the development of macro strategies in client portfolios and contribute more widely to Cameron Hume's investment process, and business strategy. Prior to his departure last year, Oxley was head of fixed income absolute return at OMGI where he ran the Absolute Return Government Bond fund.
