Neptune's Cassell promoted on £600m UK Mid Cap fund

Neptune Investment Management has promoted Holly Cassell to co-manager of the group's £24.1m UK Opportunities fund and deputy manager of its £600m UK Mid Cap fund, alongside Mark Martin.

Cassell joined Neptune in September 2013 as an investment analyst and was promoted to assistant manager on the UK Mid Cap and UK Opportunities funds in 2014 and 2015 respectively.   Neptune's Thompson becomes China fund manager as Turnbull departs She has worked closely with Martin, investment director, head of UK equities and lead manager on the funds, applying a three-silo approach to the investment process with an emphasis on diversification and downside protection.
