Standard Life Wealth promotes Hair to CIO

Standard Life Wealth has made a series of internal promotions including John Hair to chief investment officer and Julie-Ann Ashcroft as head of investments.

Hair will have responsibility for the firm's investment portfolios, which have £6.7bn in assets under management, and will report to chief executive Richard Charnock.  He will also continue his existing work managing portfolios for charities, private clients, trusts and pensions.  Meanwhile, Ashcroft has been promoted from senior investment manager to head of investments alongside Darren Ripton. She will take over responsibility of Standard Life Wealth's Conventional portfolios, as well as managing the Balanced Bridge fund and the Offshore Income fund. She will report to new CIO Hair....
