Research firm MPI appoints head of EMEA

Investment research firm Markov Processes International (MPI) has hired Bijan Foroodian in London as managing director for EMEA.

MPI said the hire reflects the firm's desire to improve its service for EMEA clients as it intends to develop new solutions to meet evolving market dynamics. Foroodian joins from Inflection Point Capital Management where, he was chief investment officer, and has 20 years of experience in the global fund industry. This role involved developing equity valuation models which synthesised traditional fundamental and quantitative inputs with sustainability factors.
