Embark Group acquires online DFM platform DISCUS

Retirement solutions provider Embark Group, which also owns The Adviser Centre, has acquired DISCUS, a discretionary investment insight business launched in April last year.

DISCUS ( which stands for Discretionary Investment Services Coming Under Scrutiny) has joined Embark's existing portfolio of investment insight and research businesses, including The Adviser Centre and multi-asset research provider Scopic Research.  The company, founded by Gillian Hepburn and Abbie Knight (pictured) provides content, analysis and insight into the outsourced investment market - particularly discretionary propositions.
