Thesis replaces UK equity funds with stocks on Optima range

Thesis Asset Management has replaced UK equity funds with direct securities on its Optima fund range, resulting in a reduction of costs on the portfolio.

Almost all UK equity unit trusts have been replaced with direct exposure to UK stocks across all portfolios in the range, but the firm will continue to hold funds in other asset classes. The Optima range is made up of income, balanced and growth portfolios. Funds sold across portoflios included the JOHCM UK Opportunities and the Montanaro UK Equity Income funds, while examples of stocks added are Diageo, Unilever, Brituish American Tobacco and Ashtead.  The change has reduced the ongoing charge figure (OCF) for all share classes with the cheapest class, the Optima Balanced - C share c...
