FundsLibrary appoints former SWIP COO as chief executive

FundsLibrary, a subsidiary of Hargreaves Lansdown, has appointed Arun Sarwal as chief executive.

Sarwal (pictured) joins from SS&C Technologies, where he was a senior vice president, and he was previously chief operating officer at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership. He will be working to broaden the firm's service proposition, develop digital analytic capabilities and expand into new markets. This is a new position for the firm which Hargreaves Lansdown said reflects the importance of the business and the depth of opportunity in data management.
