US small caps to benefit from Trump victory

WisdomTree Europe has forecast US equities will be the best performing asset class in 2017, as President-Elect Donald Trump's pro-growth agenda will boost North American mid- and small-cap stocks.

The ETF provider said in a macro update that Trump's (pictured) victory in the US Presidential Election and his proposed policies, which include cuts in individual and corporate tax rates, increased spending on defence and infrastructure, and a rollback on regulations, will be "very good" for US stocks.
