SLI opens Singapore office with real estate focus

Standard Life Investments has appointed a chief executive to lead a new team for the firm in Singapore, focusing on Asia Pacific real estate.

Choon Wah Wong has joined as chief executive of Standard Life Investments (Singapore) and head of Asia Pacific real estate. He will oversee the management of global real estate portfolios and has 16 years experience in Asia Pacific real estate investment management. He will be joined by Ted Roy, who is relocating from SLI in Edinburgh, as deputy fund manager, Jason Lam as associate investment director and Asia wholesale sales, and Tervinder Chal as head of Asia Pacific real estate finance and operations.
