Deloitte: CFO support rises for EU referendum 'in' campaign

The number of chief financial officers (CFOs) who believe it would be in the UK's best interests to remain part of the European Union has risen to 75%, according to Deloitte.

In a survey of 120 chief financial officers, Deloitte found the number of CFOs in favour of remaining part of the EU had risen from 62% last quarter to 75%. The number of respondents who were uncertain of their position had more than quadrupled from 4% to 17%. However, Deloitte pointed out 28% of CFOs in the fourth quarter said they were waiting for the results of David Cameron's negotiations with the EU, which was not an optional answer this quarter.
